Excellent Cheddar-Melt Steak Sliders

Makes 20 sliders

  1. Over a medium to high heat sauté the onion with the oil in a medium sized saucepan for 4 -6 minutes – until translucent.
  2. Add in the Excellent Tenderized Steak (Class A) and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add in the meat masala and 1 cup of Beef stock.
  3. Allow the mixture to braise for 30 minutes – adding in a ¼ cup of water should the liquid need to be topped up.
  4. After 30 minutes, mix the mushroom soup and beef stock together and add the mixture into your saucepan with the mushrooms and tenderized steak.
  5. Allow the mixture to cook for an additional 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Place the mixture on the sliders rolls and top with cheddar cheese.


  • 2 tbls Olive oil
  • 1 Onion, cut into rings
  • 1kg Excellent Tenderized Steak (Class A)
  • 1 tbls Spice Mecca Meat masala (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
  • 3 cups / 750ml Beef stock (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
  • 250g Mushrooms (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
  • 1 packet Mushroom soup (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
  • 1 pkt Cocktail hamburger rolls (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated (Available at Excellent Meat Market)
